Recently a new research MRI scanner has been installed at CMIV. This scanner is a 1.5T Philips Medical Systems Achieva Nova Dual equipped with Galaxy gradients with dual mode capability (up to 66 mT/m – 160 T/m/s), a 16-channel Freewave data acquisition system, and the latest software release of ScanForum including ExamCards. A full research agreement with Philips Medical Systems will allow all possible clinical as well as technical research applications.
